This workshop will focus on encouraging home educators who have unique learners who might fall into the category of “special needs.” Dr. Pietersma will provide research on the efficacy of home educating students with special needs, along with providing resources and encouragement. The session will wrap up with open sharing of “best practices” whereby families can brainstorm and share ideas that might be useful to other families.
