Home education has its challenges, especially when the teacher is going through a challenging time. Like all vocations, the home educating parent does his or her duty not because it is easy, but because the task has been given to do. When grief, illness, tragedy and more enter a family, how can homeschooling continue? What aspects are vitally important? What subjects can be simplified or skipped for a season? Where do we find the strength to continue when our own strength is failing? Leave this session encouraged that your Savior loves you, forgives you, and gives you His strength for the task ahead.
