Resilient faith grows as we learn to see God’s steady character in both His Word and His created world. Jesus often taught outdoors—in olive groves, beside the sea, and in the wilderness—and He used materials from nature (sparrows, wildflowers, seeds, soil, and storms) to make truth stick. We can teach using the same method, returning nature study to its proper place as theology, the study of God.
