The Family Altar: Keeping Your Family Together in Christ

Especially for husbands and fathers, this session will encourage and equip men to lead their families in daily Scripture reading, hymn singing, and prayer. Whether you grew up with a “family altar” or have never heard of it and are afraid to try, Dr. MacPherson will provide biblical examples, practical advice, and plenty of encouragement. Having recently survived (and thrived!) during “the year of the four teenagers,” he will explain how children of all ages can grow closer to Christ through home devotions centered on God’s Word. Q&A topics may also include: preparing sons and daughters for marriage, honoring one’s elders, and finding joy in the Bible’s definition of marriage
