Setup will be from 8-9:30 am. Sale will begin at 10 am. If you cannot be there for setup but have items to sell, please contact me via PM, and we can arrange pickup/drop off of your items prior to the sale.
Instructions on sorting, labeling and pricing your curriculum and books so you can add them to the sale.
1. Books are arranged by table by “grade level.” Individuals dropping off books to sell normally place them on the tables, as tables fill up or as items are purchased we normally condense or expand sections depending on space needed. Please have them sorted ahead for proper table placement to save everyone the headache of needing to sort your items.
2. We always have a free section so bring anything you might be willing to donate or pay it forward to another mom or family.
3. Pricing is completely up to you. Price them to sell BUT also remember your phone number is required on your items so shoppers can reach out to you and negotiate deals as you and they see fit. Pricing is what you feel is fair.
4. ***Labeling: (probably the most important so you can get paid for your items) To label items properly you will need to include, your name, phone # and price. You can use index cards and painters tape to tape the card to the front or even a card just stuck inside the book (not ideal, falls out easily) with the info above. Please place rubber bands around sets of books that the items are to be sold together. Marking the set as a set with something like this is a 3 book set on the index card will also be helpful.*** There is also a link to download a printable form for your convenience.
5. Payment to sellers will be at the end of the event for those that had cash sales. If you have a digital payment option, please include it on your label. If you are not available to pick up your cash payment, please arrange a pickup time with myself BEFORE the event ends at 8:15pm. Any cash payments not picked up within 1 hr of the event ending will be considered a donation toward the organizers time and efforts. (Aka: I will NOT chase you down and pay you)
Pickup of items not sold is also at the end of event. (7:45-8 PM) If you do not want your items back, you may leave them and we will haul them for you to be donated. Any items left past 8:15 will be considered donated. (Aka: I will NOT chase you down and return your items)
